I moved into a 1950s art-deco apartment last May.

When I moved in, I danced on the hardwood floors and was happy.

I worked hard to make this "Emily's" home-- complete with pieces from my adored Elkhorn Flea Market in WI.

I had a sofa change in the mix, now I have a LOVELY green velvet sofa!

With a skylight comes natural light galore, so I have plants upon plants with dreams of more plants. And some friend's art hanging in my bedroom :) 

I call it Stjornuhús...star house, because of that skylight view!
